Individual Services

Coaching for excellence
This interpersonal process typically lasts six – eighteen months, and has concentrated focus on behaviors leaders want to change, improve or enhance. The typical process is to interview the individual for a picture of the overall situation, and to determine if the fit is comfortable for both parties to continue work together. To proceed, a few pertinent people who work closely with the person will also be provided similar, but less detailed interviews, to gain a more comprehensive picture of the organizational and situational context. At that point a plan is developed. In some cases self-assessments, 360 assessments or both may be used for additional information and insight. Specific action steps are established with periodic monitoring to ensure the process in working as planned. The monitoring checkpoints are used along with the contract timeframe to determine when coaching would be successfully discontinued. This process is designed for maximum personal and professional development with lessons that go beyond the current job description, for life-long application.

What’s Important Now?
Leaders in organizations sometimes look for additional opportunities or challenges outside of their immediate realm of responsibility. A review of where such opportunities might be realized comes from a combination of the needs of the organization, the interests of the individual leader and the ability to bring needs and interests together in meaningful, productive ways. This project is designed to provide a creative outlet for the executive looking for a new challenge while adding significant value to the functioning of the organization.
The reviews include organizational processes with attention to what’s working well, and where challenges exist, who has control over processes, and how much flexibility exists for creative use of resources. Organizational culture is also incorporated to ensure that innovations fit within the cultural norms.
